What We’re Learning

*Reading /Spelling/Phonics/Writing:

Read: Wake Up Nate, Where is Dave, & The Farmer in the Hat. Long a (CVCe) and c/s/, g/j/, digraph ch & wh. Cause and Effect.

Sight Words- be, could, horse, old, paper, one, had, by, but, not

Selection Words - farmer, gerbil, MacDonald, squeak  Interactive Notebook.

*Math: writing numbers 26, 27, 28, 29

- addition facts: doubles to 18 & adding 1

- weighing objects with a balance scale

- covering a design with pattern blocks 

*Journaling

Life Principle:   Responsibility 

Definition: Making the choice to be reliable and dependable

     Parent teacher conferences are coming up in a couple of weeks. Please be watching for a sign up sheet in your child’s Tuesday folder.  I am looking forward to visiting you about your child’s progress and behavior.
