Janet Mullins – reported problem with computer. The replacement of a power adapter didn’t do the job, so I moved the desktop computer from the empty elementary classroom into Mrs. Mullins room. Was performing very slow, so I brought it to my classroom, reset the parameter ram, ran disk first aide and applied all available updates, created a local account for her, transferred all available files from server, and installed her “Instructional Presentations” from Saxon. Then returned to her classroom after school.

District – discussed the demo VOIP phones with administrators and reminded them of September 8th conference call with Cisco.

Marie Prewett – reminded me to set up local account on aid computer.

District – installed and configured demo Meraki VOIP phones for administrators. This included unboxing and plugging in the phones, claiming phones on Meraki dashboard, then adding contacts, assigning numbers and contacts to the phones.

Web Site – created page and news article for HS basketball schedule.

Janet Mullins – reported problem with computers. There was now light on power adapter connector so we exchanged the power adapter and let it charge.

E-Rate – completed a VOIP for to be submitted with the RFP. Sent to Kellogg.

E-Rate – scheduled installation of network upgrade for November 17 to 19.

Note: I was out yesterday, Thursday, October 27th, for medical reasons

District – set up a Meraki IP phone we have for a 30-day trial. There are 4 others, but I had to order power adapters to get them working.

MS Lab – deleted Canon Copier from System Prefs on all lab computers and replaced it with MS Lab HP LJ 2015 which came from a cart in storage.

Marie Prewett – requested help using an audio DVD on the old laptops from the mobile cart. Reset the country code for DVD Player.

District – sent an email “Google Tip of the Week” to all staff and published it to the website.
