Reading Renaissance National Honor Roll

Celebrate with us! Our class made the Reading Renaissance National Honor Roll!  We worked hard and read a lot and answered questions on quizzes. We had to keep our book level up, percentage correct at 90% or above and reach a certain number of points for each session and WE DID IT! Congratulation class. Current Position:

I began my employment at Konawa Elementary in the fall of 1998.

I have been teaching here ever since then.

I currently teach first grade.

Previous Position:

I began my teaching career at Maud Elementary School in the fall of 1993.  I taught there for 5 years.  While at Maud, I taught first grade and fourth grade.

While at Konawa, I have taugh 5th grade American History and PE.  I have also taught 2nd grade.  Most of my teaching experience has been in first grade, which is my passion.  Teaching young learners to read and watching that ability grow continues to be an inspiration each year.

Family Information:

I am married to my husband, Philip Mullins, who is also a graduate of Konawa Schools.

I have three daughters, who are Konawa Alumni.  Rachel (Mullins) Dillin; Amanda (Mullins) Leslie, and Rebekah (Mullins) Rogers.  I have six grandchildren. Four of them attend Konawa Schools.

I have a German Shepard Dog named Syd and some cats.

Personal Information:

In addition to teaching first grade, I am an avid reader.  I like sewing and working in my yard. I also, spend time watching my grandchildren in their various activities.  My husband is a bivocational pastor of a small church west of Ada. I enjoy learning new things pertaining to technology too.
